Kia ora Koutou and Welcome to Pukekohe East School.

We are a small semi-rural school in Pukekohe only 5km from Pukekohe township.  With strong historical roots that hark back to 1863, we have a strong history of community involvement and high expectations of students. We are a contributing school that caters for year 1-6 students.

Our school believes in promoting children to become confident lifelong learners who are connected to our community and environment.

Our motto of ‘strive to learn and learning to strive’ encapsulates our strong school emphasis on growing not only as a learner but also as a whole.

Our school offers many opportunities for our tamariki to thrive in an idyllic rural setting. A large school hall, 2 adventure playgrounds, large fields, a native walkway and recently refurbished classrooms are but a few of our top of the range facilities.

Our staff are committed to providing the best outcomes for the students they teach wherever they are on their learning journeys. They are passionate about what they do and work hard to guide our tamariki as they move through the school.

It is an honour and a privilege to be the Principal of Pukekohe East School. Come in and meet us!
